The food was delicious, although I must admit it’s hard to truly impress me with cuisine alone. What absolutely stood out, however, was the service—100%. Coming from the restaurant industry myself, I can confidently say this was top-tier hospitality. We were amazed by the atmosphere! The entire team works in perfect harmony, creating an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, you feel right at home. Every request was heard, and every wish was thoughtfully fulfilled. This restaurant is a true gem—where exceptional service meets an inviting atmosphere.
Downtown Denver never disappoints and this Mexican place was BY FAR phenomenal! Still drooling over the food we ate. Outstanding service for being a busy Sat night. We got the shared fajita- fresh and flavorful toppings and juicy chicken. Salsa and guacamole top tier 10/10 recommend this restaurant when visiting Denver. We will be back soon
Excellent all around. I miss the old location in the house by the stadium, but Savina's just justice to La Loma down to the original stained glass from the cantina and photos on the walls. I ordered chicken fajitas and a couple el Diablo Margaritas. I highly recommend both. Fried ice-cream is also excellent and slightly better than it used to be up on the hill.
Savina's Mexican Kitchen is a Downtown Denver delight. This is an upscale Mexican restaurant with all your traditional favorites that have been elevated a mile high. Our food came out fast! Hot and fresh. The service is friendly and professional and eager to help. The atmosphere is classy and sophisticated. It was a great visit to this amazing restaurant.
This place is also known as La Loma I believe. It definitely has a higher end Mexican vibe with a dining club feel of the decor. I loved our cozy and comfortable booth towards the back—great view for people watching. We went early during happy hour, which seemed popular as an after work meet up. I thought the margaritas were great but a bit weak. The food was fantastic and well presented. This was my second time and I’ll for sure be back.
If you love green chile, this is the place to go. I grew up in Colorado, and sadly have missed the type of Mexican food I grew up with living in Illinois now. This place has delicious food. If you aren’t sure about green chile, they offer a sample (comes with a fresh tortilla).
The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant. Inside was really cute, service was awesome. The chips and salsa were SO good. The reason I gave it a four was the meat was a little dry (chicken and brisket) but other than that it was good.
Had a great dinner at La Loma. The fajitas came out sizzling and were very good. Great guacamole,.however for $14 I would expect something a little larger. 3 of us took it down rather quickly. It would not be enough for 4. Should be a larger portion given the price. House margarita had.good flavor and was decently strong. Server was a little bit of a miss. He seemed like he was annoyed we were there. Never asked if we wanted another drink or needed anything. Very nice looking inside the restaurant.
